ALAIDDIN KASAPKARA, the founder of BAKIRHAN BAKIRCILIK, was born in KAHRAMANMARAS center in 1924. In 1934, he gave his first apprenticeship to the copper business by giving an apprentice to the Armenian copperman master. He has mastered this craft by learning 16 years with the Armenian master. In 1950, he made his first step by opening his own small workshop. Mustafa KASAPKARA, son of this craftsman, raised his son as an apprentice.

In 1986 he opened a small shop in the bazaar of sobacılar in Antalya. Sobacılar Bazaar, 5 shops and 1 store in Manavgat is growing with the craft.

  From 1950 onwards, it carries handicrafts that are passed on from father to son.
